五岁就有菩提心
SECTION 28. Bodhichitta Arose at the Age of Five
通常来讲，我对前译持明传承，尤其是对上师麦彭仁波切，有着无与伦比的信心。
I have incomparable faith in the earlier translation lineage of the Vidyadhara, especially Guru Mipham Rinpoché.
从四五岁起，我就认定上师麦彭仁波切是究竟的皈依处，把他这一个人当作一位本尊来祈祷，
When I was four or five years old, I recognized Guru Mipham Rinpoché as my ultimate refuge and prayed to him as a deity.
虔诚的敬信心从未松弛过，也始终认为他与怙主文殊菩萨不仅是本体，而且形象也是无二无别。
My sincere devotion has never wavere and I always believed he and Guru Manjushri were inseparable, not only in their essence but also in their appearances.
说这样的信心在3 岁时就有，那有点儿太早，但5 岁确定有。
To say I had this kind of devotion when I was as young as three years old is obviously unlikely, but surely I had it when I was five years old.
记得一次我在父亲的怀里，认准上师麦彭仁波切就是我的部主，
I remember, once in my father’s arms I clearly recognized Mipham Rinpoché as the lord of my buddha family,
也就是从那时起，相续中生起了无伪的菩提心。
and from that day an uncontrived wakened mind (bodhichitta) arose in my mindstream.
